It is sad seeing my blogger frens, one by one, go on hiatus...definitely gonna miss reading their entry :(....but I respect their decision....

When frens asked me to blog long time ago, I asked myself, "Nak tulis apa eh?".....my life is.... let put it this way....simple as can be, boring to some probably...nothing exciting or thrilling... and I am definitely not a writer :( ....so I hesitated...for a while..... :(
When the bug came again to tempt me, I asked myself again......, "Ada ke org nak baca?".....& it finally struck me....org mesti kena baca ke?... am I writing bcoz I want ppl to read? ..kalau org tak baca, does that mean my blog "failed"?
That sounds ridiculous isn't it? :lol:
So with tt in mind...I finally join the rest of my frens :wink:
It is a great experience I wld say & making many many new frens...that's the BEST part of all....Alhamdulillah :D

Ihsan is having fever....again :cry:. Exactly 1 month ago he went to the doc for the same reason...fever....sigh.. I hope it's not bcoz I'm not feeding him well or not taking care of him properly. :( :(
He was soo clingy yesterday.....
Alhamdulillah mak is coming today. That will definitely help me alot.

Wednesday morning @ 0655 hrs
...to my birthday? Not really ah coz dah tua2 gini, birthday doesn't really excite me anymore. If my loved ones remember, that will be a bonus for me :wink:

Yesterday @ 7.30 pm, dh sms telling me tt he was still in the office :( ...that wld mean he wld probably reach home late esply since he need to take train home :(
I don't really fancy driving at nite, but thinking abt him coming home late, tired & missing on the kids if they were asleep, I decided to fetch him. Anyway it was not raining...coz if it was, he probably won't allow it too.
So off the 4 of us to Capitol Tower.
The journey was cool except for this one incident when this guy made a right turn without checking...sigh.... I was goin straight & cld have hit him if I didn't brake fast!! :x Wat an irresponsible driver!!! This is one reason why I find driving can be stressful sometimes. You can be the most careful, responsibile driver ever, but other ppl's negligence can result in accidents....sigh :(
But of course like wat my sis said, if that were to happen (nauzubillahiminzalik..) then it is fate. We do our part, & tawakkal.....but still scary isn't it?
By the time we reached the carpark, the kids were already in the slumberland...zzzz....but they got to c ayah first :wink:....

Tues afternoon @ 1622 hrs
I blamed it on Survivor...no..no...on Channel 5 for airing it soo late @ nite! :x ....it's always other ppl's fault, rite?...never urs rite?... :twisted:
Anyway, yap, I still watched it yesterday altho I already know the winner. But I was "banned" from watching it with dh... :twisted: :twisted: ...so I watched it in my room, in the comfort of my bed :wink: ...no complains :P
We didn't watched till the reunion part coz it's just too late. No worrries coz we have the vcr to do its job. *yay to vcr!!*
This morning, when I woke up, I cld feel the heat on Ihsan's body. He had a fever yesterday nite & again this morning...Alhamdulillah after taking his med, the fever seemed to disappear almost immediately...tt's a great relief....
At 8.45 am, sent Dini to school. She's attending this optional orientation prog for 5 days, a 3 hrs session. On the last day, the kids from each class will put up a short show on the stage for parents :wink:
Asyraf attended the same one last yr too & I tot it was good. Esply since my kids belong to those shy type category.
This prog will somehow allow them to know their classmates, school environment, school situations in a more relax, "non-threatening" condition. By the time school begins, the place will not be something "alien" to them anymore, insyaALlah.
Hopefully Dini will be more confident & "at home" when the school starts :) Ibu as always paranoid...sigh
So wat did Dini learn today? She went to the canteen for their "recess", queue up to buy food & sat on the bench meant for her class when school begins next year. She's looking forward to tomorrow session... & tt's a good sign :wink:

It's raining now & I'm praying it will stop soon. We need to top up Ihsan's diapers immediately....as in NOW!...sigh...Is it a sign tt I shld start toilet training him...? No lah...I know he's not ready yet...& I'm not gonna push him. That will only cause another unnecessary stress on ME :lol:

Monday nite @ 2059 hrs
So I didn't wait till 10 pm to know who won. I didn't even wait for the result to be out at the website. I got the news straight from USA :P

So @ 11.30 am today, I already knew the winner...but of course me, being a kind wife :twisted: didn't call dh to spoil his day...& tonite, I must really really put up my best-est act blur & innocent look. Think I can pull it thru? :wink: :P Should be okay I think coz I have been practising all this while during this season, haven't I? :twisted:
Anyway my day today was great! Met all my frens again & lovely Rya for the first time. And Bulan was my pic inspiration today... :lol: ...

Sat night @ 2008 hrs
Finally!!...All compulsory visiting done..complete... fullstop *yay!!*
I'm relief....like having heavy weights lifted off my shoulders...pheww!!!
So even though it was a wet, cold sat noon, best time to be at home...I still forced the whole family to get ready & leave the house for the raya visiting closing ceremony. My aunt stays so near & yet it took us so long to go to her place...hish..hish...
B4 we went to my aunt's place, we "visited" this wedding ceremony & had our lunch there. Good food...simply delicious :wink:...hey we were invited okay?...hehe :P

Friday nite - 2107
Mission accomplished, Alhamdulillah. Books, uniforms settled. Left with shoes & bags. Shoes, dh will handle. Reason: I can't stand all the ppl tt works there.
They are arrogant, snobbish, proud...:evil: They probably think it's not necessary to be nice to customer coz we desperately need their product!....
The sad thing is tt.... it's true... :( :( ...we have to buy the shoes at their shop coz only their shop sells it!!!! It's a school-shop thingy...It's really soo frustrating.
So in order not to spoil my mood & my day, I will let my man handle it. :wink:
Ok back to today's story, after checking & scrutinizing Asyraf's books, I realised I might have exaggerated a little, teeny, weeny bit the other day. I need to buy 3 Course books only & the rest are activity books. Overall I saved abt $29!! Great isn't it?? *happy!!happy!!*...Alhamdulillah :)
As fo Asyraf's P2 books, I actually saved abt $27...thxs to Ann & my sis, Alhamdulillah. Thxs again Ann. Really appreciate ur kindness :) Next yr , I "book" u again eh?...hehehhe :lol: *wink*
So now tt I have Asyraf's P2 books, no more excuse not to start introducing him to next yr work. ...sigh....

 0656 - Friday morning.
It still looks dark here. Is it gonna be another rainy day?
As long as the rain is not as heavy as yesterday, I will still go & buy school uniforms & books for the kids today, insyaALlah. I have been procrastinating. :(
With my mom ard, it will be easier for me to go coz I can leave Ihsan home. And with the car available for me, it will also be more convenient for me to bring the 2 kids along for their sch uniform. So there is no reason for me to procrastinate again.... unless ALlah has other plan for me... :)
Oh yes...I'm thinking of goin to JP too ( Rya? *wink* ). Dini wants the carebear vcd & since it's only $4.95, why not rite? :)
So that's my plan today...

Today is dh first day @ his new work place. He won't be driving coz the place is @ town. So it will be early off to work & reach home late for him now :cry:

..yah...finally we watched Rugrats Go Wild yesterday...& it was definitely a great show! Very funny. In fact the best of all their 3 movies :wink:
We watched the 10.45 am show. We prefer to go in the morning to avoid crowds & true enough the cinema was practically empty *grin*....abt less than 15 ppl mebbe. All of us occupied the last center row. Good view :wink:
Anyway thru out the whole show, Dini & Asyraf was totally "ngotot" (concentrate like crazy...)...smiling, laughing, giggling....they definitely enjoyed the show :D......well I did :wink:

oohhh..nice weather to snuggle back under my blanket but nope...won't do that coz we got plan today *yes!yes!* :D
nahhh...we r not going KL (I wish :( ) or shopping at mothercare ke...(this one also I wish :( )... we wanna watch rugrats go wild today!!...*yipee!!*..finally eh? :lol:
yah yah....cerita dah nak dekat basi kan? ..hhehe...but wat to do...have been bz with the visiting. Family visiting is our first priority aper coz raya sebulan aje, which for our case like 8 days only coz we usually go visiting on weekends. Ini pun tinggal satuuu aje makcik belum pegi2...& she stays like a walking distance from my place!! haiii...
Actually kan, the kids dah forgot abt rugrats movie (note:...cerita dah nak basi...) & wanna watch brother bear instead....but I wanna watch rugrats first coz I just lurveeee them....hehheh. Anyway I know the kids will be trilled too :wink:
After the movie, I have another open hse to go. This time is Asyraf's classmate. The mother called me yesterday inviting us. Then b4 she signed off, she said, "Jgn lupa bawa swimming customes..."
ME??...no lah the kids of course.. :lol:
So confirm ah she lives at the condo next to Asyraf's school. We don't see each other much, but she's a very nice & friendly lady.
Anyway this swimming thing...macam mana eh? Dini can't swim yet bcoz of the op...& if I let Asyraf swims, then kesian kan Dini? And if the 2 kids aje yg tak swim, while the rest in the pool, kesian kan mereka mereka? Pulak tu rumah this lady kat ground floor....kalau facing the pool lagik sedihkan anak2 ku... :( ...and one more thing, if they swim, I definitely have to sit next to the pool watching them...so camna nak makan kueh, borak2 dgn frens....?
..dilemma....dilemma....haii..asal buat swimming party masa raya gathering.... :cry:
....so we shall see lah....I haven't told the kids anyway... :oops:

I had soo much fun & laughter...definitely. When blogging mummies met, we always had fun, rite moms? Everybody was superb!
I initially had doubts abt being able to go somehere considered far, with the 3 kids, take mrt & without company. But Alhamdulillah we did it!! *yay*.... naik mrt, turun mrt, carik taxi stand, which was far from the mrt station....& the crowds at TP!!!...& it's not even a weekend :shock:
The preparation began after subuh....(eh...sounds familiar... :P)
Ironed the clothes...managed to cook nasi ayam, cleaned the hse, so that I won't faint the moment I step into the hse....& did the laundry :). AAahhh....baru tak rasa guilty nak merayap ni... :lol:
Supposed to leave at 11.30 am so that we can take our time & "mingle-mingle" at Toa Payoh shopping centre. But alas...we were half an hour overshot. ...itu pun sampai terlupa nak bawak "envelopes" utk bebudak :( :(...sorry ye kekanak :( :(...
The 12 stations mrt journey were long but could be considered a "success", altho my face kinda "cramped" after that. Cldn't scold & shout in public, rite? Must maintained rite? So got to give them the "look" all the time :P
We were the first to arrive & of course the first to start eating. And in order to accompany the other guests eating, so that they tak shy-shy, we continued eating with them.....susah nak dpt kawan macam ini tau...hehhe :lol: :wink:
Dini, who loves soto, said aunt's soto is as nice as ibu's...but of course...same company aper... :P :lol: :wink:
Initially told myself that I have to leave at 3 pm coz I was just so afraid of the human traffic in the mrt. But with both kids & mum having fun, time limit increased to 4 pm.....then 4.30 pm....after salam-ing session & bagi harta session we left at abt 5pm.
Of course the plan was to take the same route back home, but alamak....the working crowds will be OUT soon...& it's not gonna be a pretty sight *shaking head*. So we took the taxi all the way home....abt $15!!...sekali-sekali..ok jugak ah...
In the taxi, Asyraf & Dini slept & Ihsan was wide awake....he missed all the fun, but he definitely had a really good rest...in air con room somemore :wink: :D
So that was my day yesterday. Tired but fun & happy. No regret watsoever :wink:

I was surfing & searching for nasheed when I found Yusuf Islam's site a few days ago.
I went to his talk when he first came here more than 10 yrs ago. It was at Kallang & the crowd was ...masyaALlah!
Looking at him in real life....can't exactly describe my feelings. It felt so peaceful....
I'm sure many know abt his life b4 he became a Muslim....but masyaALLah..look at him now....
Anything can happen, if ALlah wants it to happen...our hearts can changed in a split second, from bad to good or vice versa , nauzubillah...
I'm guilty...I'm guilty of thinking tt I'm probably better by condeming & passing remarks...instead of praying for ALlah to open her heart...astagfirullah....astagfirullah

Have I told u how much I admire my sis? Well, yes I do :)
Met her & family at my uncle's place yesterday. The kids were definitely happy to see their cousins there.
Anyway on my way home, in the car, don't know why, I began to think abt her, her life, her kids...
She was the first one to start wearing hijab in my family. She changed suddenly when she was in NUS, a first yr student. Not long after that, she began to wear those long hijab, the one that covers ur body...& still wear the same type till now.
She's not the kind that fuss abt looks, clothes, etc... ( unlike me :( ) Her outfits are only simple ones. Everytime I'm with her, I feel ashamed for being so vain.
Her seeking for knowledge never stops. She reads, attends talks, classes, etc....Of course everytime I talk to her, I realised how much little.. teeny... weeny knowledge I have :(
Then her kids...masyaALLah they are all so well behaved. She's firm & strict with her kids but they love her very much. She's not the kind that goes lovey lovey with them, at least not in public.
With her tight programme, afternoon tuition, night ada classes, bringing her children, her kids still do so well in their studies. Zaid, her eldest, was 1st in std last yr both in school & madrasah. Hasan was 3rd in school & 1st in madrasah & Huda, the youngest, already at book 6 Iqra' when she was in nursery!!
Alhamdulillah she never boasts, infact always there to help me, whenever I need help...She is my motivation factor :wink:..I'm not even a tiny fraction of her...
Altho she's not those "kakak-ish" type (I do sometimes wish she is ...), I know she cares a lot abt me...
I've never say this personally to u but I love u kakak...& I'm so proud of u...

Yap! It will always be my fav day even though I'm a SAHM :wink:
Anyway I just realised tt today is the due date for the library books, so off we went to the library at Woodlands. Our fav library coz the place is sooo big, with lotsa selections.....but that wld mean the noise level is also extra "BIG"...haiii...
Anyway there was this man reading a book to his son (I assume). Oh boy, he definitely sounded serious. A few mins later, I (we, the ppl in the lib) heard him scolding his son, for interrupting him. He said something like...."You must wait until I finished reading then ask qn..."
For a moment I kinda pity the boy but wait a min..those words sounds so familiar.....oops!
Ok... so I'm guilty of that too. My children also have this habit of cutting me off everytime I read for them. Asking me qns even b4 I finished the sentence..which has the answers to their qns......IF they have waited...sigh...
It can be quite frustrating esply when ibu tried so hard to make the story sounds interesting, u know, with full facial expression, intonation etc...etc...habis hilang mood after that :(
So I can understand how the father felt...but being a man, I guess, he was not abled to control his voice. He cldn't be angry but stay 'maintained' at the same time... unlike us women huh? :wink: (but dlm rumah lain cerita ...hhehe :lol:)
So for that I kinda pity the son.... :(

As far as I can remember, my latest monster has always been sleeping with me at night, even after I stopped breastfeeding him.
But yesterday night he actually fell asleep in another room & I didn't even know it (I dozed off b4 him of course :P )
Anyway I only noticed him missing at abt 12 + am. Decided to just leave him there...but I can't sleep mannn...I'm addicted to this little monster..
Finally at abt 3+, he woke up, with eyes half closed ,walked to my room saying, "ibu....." softly....
With my open arms, welcomed him back, & he was next to me again...continuing his sleep...
I miss u daa...
Call me selfish, but I'm not ready to let u go..not yet....

There were 17 ppl altogether. So cancelled all plan to have same matching glasses & plates coz not enough :P
Preparation start after subuh tau...heheh...
Cooked mee siam & nasi goreng. Clean the house so that it will look nice, neat & presentable.
I always have pleasant, warm feelings after leaving nice, clean hses & I hope my guests wld feel the same way too today after leaving my hse :wink:

I love my non digital camera. It has been serving me for at least 11 years. Although I already have my digicam, I never forget u, minolta :wink:
Anyway as always, during raya esply, I will be armed with both cameras. Reason, there r some photos that I just want to see it as a hard copy. Can just pick up the album as & when I want to look at it..and I can show it off to my visitors easily too...hehe :P
I know I can do that with digicam, but to process them... errr...it's too at the expensive side...for me lah...
So sometimes tak de kerja me will snap using both digicam & the normal camera. Satu masuk comp, satu masuk album. :wink:
Anyway did it dgn rela hati....tak de paksaan kot......hehhe :wink: ..I'm still very much a traditional person....agaknyer lah tu.. :P
So the roll of film was sent yesterday & will b collecting the pics today!! *yipee*
...there are my own family pics, with my parents & sis family, with dh's parents & bil family.... :D

After 1 week with dh at home...Today I have to get back my momentum, handling the hse & the kids all by myself :cry:
Anyway visiting wise, Dh's side all complete...my side left with my aunt's hse only. Then it will me friends' hses, insyaALlah :wink:

We didn't go anywhere yesterday coz we were like so tired after visiting for 3 consecutive days.
Of course the kids were consistently asking me, "Where r we going today?"..."Are we going out today?"..."What time are we leaving?"...and..."WHY we are not going out today???" :x
Anyway since we were in yesterday, my bil & family came, follwed my dh's aunt family & a close fren.
Managed to goreng mee for them. Delicious or not, that's another story, but happy to see them eating :D .
..hopefully none of them had tummy ache after that :P
